Recently, the BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show Taskmaster returned to New York with the season 19 (or series as they say over the pond) world premiere at The Town Hall to a sold out crowd. Taskmaster Greg Davies and his assistant (and creator of the series) Alex Horne not only screened the episode but also hosted a live event that gave a few lucky attendees from the audience the chance to compete in a real Taskmaster task and be judged by the two.

While in New York, the pair took part in a press day to promote the upcoming season, which will air sometime in 2025 on Channel 4 in the UK as well as be available to stream internationally on the Official Taskmaster YouTube channel and Taskmaster SuperMax+.

During the junket, Davies and Horne spoke with SciFi Vision about their time in New York, what American comedians they’d love to see on the series, if they have any plans to take more tasks on the road, and much more.
