Exclusive Video Interview: Terry Chen on Filming Sight, Now in Theaters

SightSight, which opens in theaters today and stars Terry Chen and Greg Kinnear, is based on the inspiring true story of Dr. Ming Wang (Chen), a poor Chinese immigrant who flees Communist China and grows up to be a world-renowned eye surgeon in America. The story starts in 1970s China, where a young Ming faces many hardships, including living through the violent uprising, the Cultural Revolution, but with the support of his family, as well as his own determination, he is able to go to America on a scholarship where he attends Harvard and MIT. Eventually, he helps create a technology that would be used to restore sight to millions of people. Through the story, he takes on the impossible task of helping an orphan blinded by her stepmother. He must not only face the traumas of his past, but will also learn that determination and will can only take you so far.
